With a proven track record in engineering leadership, the candidate will provide guidance in design, development, building, and validation of manufacturing tooling and equipment for new products, as well as improvements or replacements for existing tooling and
equipment.
1. Demonstrate senior level expertise and leadership qualities in managing a team of mechanical, electrical, and software engineers.
2. Develop and implement standard engineering practices.
3. Work with customers, application, and sales team to translate process requirements into equipment requirements.
4. Oversee and verify deliverability of all specification and design execution documents (including 3D designs) test plans and equipment manuals for each new system.
5. Insure manufacturability of each product through prototype development and verification and aid in development of work instruction for manufacturing of the tools and equipment.
6. Set up and coordinate ongoing design review meeting to optimize product and tooling design.
7. Coordinate activity with external resources needed to design, build, and document new equipment and products.
8. Support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports the Quality System and appropriate regulations
9. Propose, track, and monitor overall project and departmental cost and expenditures. |
